My Favorite Vietnamese Noodle Dishes

I am from Vietnam and I LOVE LOVE LOVE vietnamese food, especially when it comes from my mother. Mostly I like the dishes which includes rice noodles. Unfortunately I don’t cook as good as my mother – but it still tastes good! Making those dishes aren’t very difficult, but still, mama’s food is the best ❤

I feel like most of the vietnamese restaurants aren’t real vietnamese because they have things on their menu, which are more thai or dishes from other asian countries … So my favorite vietnamese noodle dishes by mommy are:

I. Pho

Processed with VSCOcam with m5 preset

Pho – Vietnamese noodle Soup

There are two versions of this noodle soup: you can eat it with beef or with chicken. I used to like it with chicken more, but now I like both versions.

II. Bun Bo Xao / Bun Bo Hue / Bun Tron

Bun Bo Sao – this is how I call it

So this dish has many names as you can see. One time I had a discussion with my friends, we were fighting about which name was the right one for this dish, at first none of us knew about which dish we were talking about when one of us mentioned it – but we figured it out 🙂 . This one is quite easy to make.

III. Nem cuon

Summerrolls

This is the easiest dish – as you can see, you can  create your own summer roll!

So these are my favorite noodle dishes, but there is still one dish, which is not in my list, and it is called bun cha – but I don’t have a picture of it, but I will do more food posts if you want me to 🙂

And also if you want me to show you how to make those dishes, just comment below and I will do a blog post about each dish 🙂
