No signs of stress 😉

Do you know that stress when you have to pack for your holidays? I always have the feeling that I forgot something, in the end it sometimes turns out that I really forgot something! Therefore I created my own system how to pack and how I will not forget anything:

I. MAKE AN ESSENTIAL LIST

If you have a essential list, you can use this list every time for every other trip you are going to plan in the future and you won’t miss anything. I keep a list on my phone, when I plan a trip I always come back to that list, so I don’t always need to think again about what I really need… I like to forget my hair brush or deodorant for example haha.

You definitely need:

  1. Toothbrush and toothpaste
  2. Comb
  3. Shower gel and hair shampoo
  4. If you were contact lenses: A box for your lenses and contact lens water
  5. Glasses
  6. Bodylotion / hand cream
  7. Underwear
  8. Nail File
  9. Make Up Remover
  10. Towel

There are far more things you need, for traveling by air, I already have a list for you: Click here

II. CHECK UP THE WEATHER

Of course you don’t need to pack a winter parka if you see it’s going to be 25 degrees in the next few days. I have a few friend who never check up the weather and then they were freezing in their clothes and they needed to buy new clothes there. It also makes your decisions easier, what to take with you and what not

III. DON’T PACK ONE DAY BEFORE

But I also would not pack two weeks before you are going somewhere. The best time is to pack about three days before you’re going to holidays. Because that’s not to far away from the holidays and the weather forecast is more precise. And it is not to short before you are leaving, if you forgot something, you can still go and purchase it in your local market. Toothbrushes and other stuff are quite expensive at the airport…

What are you struggling with when it comes to packing ?

Love,

T. L.
