My Thoughts In June: What Do I Want?

Well, this question bothers me a long time now, especially this month I was thinking about it a lot. I still struggle with my so called ‘quarter life crisis’ but at least I am more confident and think more positive about my future.

I think I am more clear about what I want right now, but somehow it’s not. Or maybe I think it’s about the HOW I achieve my life goals. This is what brings me headache.

I clearly want to work in the Marketing branch, I think there is a lot of space for creativity. But I also want to be my own boss, well that would be optional, I have always wanted to own an online shop , but I don’t know what kind of style I want to represent. What I mean by that is, there are many bloggers, companies, etc. who represent ONE kind of style, e.g. CHANEL is pure elegance to me, CHEAP MONDAY represents coolness, NIKE is a symbol for a sporty lifestyle, and so on.

Because I can’t decide what kind of style I want to represent, it is difficult to me to build a brand. I don’t see this as a problem, the problem is how to combine different styles into one brand.

So maybe I did know all the time what I want, I was just uncertain about the ‘how do I get there’. Because I was always focussing on the ‘how’ I lost sight of the ‘what’ and I ended up not knowing, why I did something.

    • I think it is because of our generation “y” that we find it so hard to decide what we really want, we have so many opportunities nowadays! I’m glad that I am not the only one who thinks like that 🙂
