10 other summer activities besides swimming

Exams are finally over and I want to enjoy the summer for the next two weeks before I leave. I am not a big fan of going swimming because I am not that confident when it comes to my body, so I collected some ideas on what you can do else besides swimming ! The ideas are also possible date ideas for the perfect summer love story 😉 :

I. VISIT A CASTLE

My favorite place

Germany has so many castles, I want to visit them all, but I have one special castle where I like to take a walk with my boyfriend.

II. HAVE A PICNIC

Just drive to the next lake and have a nice picnic and enjoy the good weather!

III. WATCH THE STARS

Especially in summer you can lie on the meadow and look up to the clear sky full of stars. On one of our first dates my boyfriend and I even saw a shooting star!

IV. GO HIKING

And enjoy the nature!

V. PICK SOME STRAWBERRIES

VI. DO A BIKE TOUR

This is something more for the sporty ones, unfortunately I have only lazy friends or their excuse is always ‘my bike is not good enough for a bike tour’ – you’re lazy, just say it!

VII. OPEN AIR CINEMA

You can still watch some movies – outside. The atmosphere is completely different and most of the time it is cheaper than in a normal cinema

VIII. OPEN AIR FESTIVAL

If you have never been to an open air festival and like to dance, you should definitely go! It’s super fun with your friends! Good music, nice weather, cold drinks, friends and fun – what else do you want in summer?

IX. RENT A BOAT AT A LAKE

Munich has a lot of lakes nearby , sometimes I just rent a cheap boat with some friends and we chill all day on the boat at Starnberger See and jump into the water if we want to.

X. CATCH SOME POKEMONS

For real, I feel like this is THE summer activity for this year! At least it is something you do outside.

What do you like to do in summer? Let me know in the comments!

Love,

Luna
