10 More Beauty Hacks With Coconut Oil

Since the last time many were so interested in oil pulling and asked me so many questions, I thought I would share some more hacks with that little wonder.

COCONUT OIL

Coconut oil is a very versatile natural product, you can use it for so many things, I am going to share with you 10 more beauty hacks with coconut oil:

I. MAKE UP REMOVER

If you are running out of chemical make up removers, coconut oil is the solution! I just scoop out a little bit of coconut oil into my hand and then rub it into my face. Not only does it remove make up, but it also hydrates my face and makes it feel soft. After rubbing my make up off my face I just rinse everything off with water.

II. HAIR MASK

Coconut oil makes your skin soft and your hair as well! Just work it into your hair and let it sit for at least 15 minutes or longer. Since it is a natural remedy, you can even let it soak into your hair over night and wash your hair the next day. I personally only use the coconut oil on my hair ends because I dye them so often, therefore it is the most dry part.

III. BODY PEELING

Another way to use coconut oil for your beauty treatments at home is to mix it with coffee or brown sugar. I personally like to mix it with coffee and a few drops of lemon, it just smells amazing to me AND it also reduces cellulite. But of course you can mix it however you like it, on pinterest you can find tons of different ways to mix your own peeling. It also works for your face and lips as well!

IV. FOOT CREAM

For those who likely to have cracked heels like me, put on some coconut oil on your heels and wear cotton socks overnight. Wash your feet the next morning – they feel a lot softer and look more hydrated!

V. FACE MASK

You can mix coconut oil with so many things to get the right face mask for your current skin condition:

Coconut oil + Honey: Hydrates your skin

Coconut oil + Lemon: Brightens your skin

I prefer to do the coconut oil face masks in winter time, because my skin is super dry during that season.

These next hacks are hacks I haven’t tried yet, but I found them on the internet or my mother uses them:

VI. ANTI AGING

This is a trick my mother likes to use, she mixes coconut oil with baking soda and uses it like a facial cleanser. It removes wrinkles and brightens your skin as well.

VII. WEIGHT LOSS

Eating one spoon of coconut oil every day helps reducing your weight it says. I did the oil pulling but I don’t think I would be able to eat a full spoon of oil.

VIII. LIP BALM

You can apply pure coconut oil on your lips to make them feel softer and look softer as well. I also think this is a better option than to put honey on your lips, since I tend to lick my lips immediately after putting honey on my lips. And I don’t think I would like the taste of pure coconut oil.

IX. EYELASH GROWING

Applying a little bit of coconut oil on your lashes for a few hours should help you to grow them. Of course you should do it on a regularly basis to see the effects.

X. CUTICLE OIL

It looks just like the color in the bottle

Applying coconut oil on your cuticles makes them softer and easier to push back, this one is definitely a hack, I will try out, as soon as my exams are over!

These are just a few more hacks of many more with coconut oil! If you want to know and try more hacks with coconut oil, I created a pin board on Pinterest with natural beauty hacks here.

Have you ever tried one of these hacks and did they help you? I am curious to know what kind of experience you had with using natural remedies for your beauty treatments 🙂
