Every blogger has their own favorite photo editing app, the probably most popular one is VSCO Cam – BUT new apps keep popping up in the apple store and there are super alternatives for VSCO too! So I will show you my favorite photo editing apps here in my following post:
Snapseed is super for editing HD photos because I don’t feel like it reduces the quality of an image which you took with a reflex camera for example. I don’t use the filters there but you can edit the basics just as shadow, tint, sharpness, contrast, lighting and so on. What I like most about this app is that you can edit the lighting in specific areas, which is very helpful if you take photos in the sun for example. If half of your face or your stuff is in the shadow you can balance the lighting and the shadow with this brush.
Airbrush is like the equivalent of facetune – but with more options! There are more tools for free than on facetune, so I suggest you just try it out! In app purchases are also possible, but these are just two or three more options which aren’t really necessary in my opinion.
Retouch is THE App for deleting small mistakes on your pictures such as an outstanding hair, a towel in the background… Or people. Yeah, sometimes it is super annoying for me when there are too many people in my background and if possible, I just erase them with one finger swipe…. Hah, I wish it would be that easy in life too!
IV. A COLOR STORY
This app has many amazing filters, the downside of this app is that you have to purchase almost every filter, but they are worth the purchase! Check out @acolorstory on Instagram so you can check out the filters before you purchase them.
This app is perfect for the food bloggers out there, they have so many filters and it’s all for free! I like to use it for more than just my food photos
I was also thinking about writing a blogpost about make-up apps I like, would you like to read one about that?
