Getting Back On My Happiness Level

Wow, where did the time go? Can you believe it is already June??? Almost half a year has already passed and this month I felt a little bit stuck… Stuck in everything, university, work and my relationships. This month was a little bit weird but thankfully I had my short break in Verona and refueled my motivation and energy for the upcoming month: which is basically just studying for my exams. Honestly, I can’t wait for it to be over, even just thinking about my exams makes me cringe. YES, I read self-help books. And I love it. I read a very interesting self-help book, I know it always sounds so desperate when you say you read those kind of things, but I swear on my favorite dish of my mom, these books DO help you! They motivate you and even open your eyes, there are so many basic things in life we don’t appreciate or just don’t see, but we should appreciate them and thank them every single day. Which book are you talking …

Enjoying Myself Again In Verona

I needed a break once again from Munich, somehow I didn’t feel very motivated and organised in May, so my trip to Verona was just the perfect reason to escape the bad weather and refuel my energy! I stayed at an AirBnB apartment with the nicest hosts I ever had! Michela and Fabio, they welcomed me very nicely and I immediately felt like I was at home but at the same time, I also felt like I was in vacation. I explored Verona all by myself the first two days, I just enjoyed the moment and I didn’t even listen to music while I was walking through the streets of Verona. I wanted to suck in the Italian atmosphere, which is full of joy and relaxation for me. The music, the colorful houses, the food – everything gave me so much energy and I felt so happy just to be there. I walked from sightseeing to sightseeing, I went from Castelvecchio to Piazza Bra to la Casa di Giulietta. Then I walked around to Ponte Pietra …

The Tulip Paradise in Keukenhof

Every Easter I travel with my family somewhere and this year my mother wanted to see the tulips in Keukenhof in the Netherlands. The weather was really good with us and we had a lot of sunshine when we visited Keukenhof. It was super crowded because of Easter and I’ve never seen so many kind of tulips. This place was huge and also had two or three garden houses with orchids and probably other flowers. We were just walking by all those flowers because there were so many, even though they were so beautiful. I wouldn’t recommend you to go there on Holidays because it is super packed and if you want to take nice photos you have to wait for ages until it’s ‘less crowded’ so you can take a photo without 50 people photobombing it. The next day we went to Amsterdam to see the city and I finally had my bubble tea which I was craving for some time already. I’ve already seen Amsterdam so the only thing I wanted to do …

NamesForever Kette

Fighting the thoughts

This month was full of ups and downs, events, changes and extreme mood swings – just like the April weather: The highlight of this month I finally realized my dream and launched LUNAMIÈRE, a fashion jewelry online shop! I would have never expect to receive so much support when I announced it, it was totally overwhelming and I am so grateful for everyone who helped me to build this shop, sent me their congratulations and everyone who bought something. Your support and your kind words motivate me to bring my shop to the next level! Even though this was the biggest highlight in April, I still had to struggle a lot, especially with myself. I fell back into my old habit a few times and it dragged me down and made feel really really bad. But I’ve learned and am still learning a lot about myself, especially about my way of thinking. I have to fight a lot against my negative thoughts on many things in my life. It is still a hard fight but after every …

4 Easy Tips To Decor Your Home On A Low Budget

I love food, I love beauty, I love traveling and I am also an obsessive home decor junkie. The reason why I have never written a blog post about home decor lifestyle is because I am a) still living at my parents or more living again at my parents house and b)  I am a broke student and I don’t have enough money to buy me those wonderful stuff and c) I don’t even have my own room at my parents house. But still, when I was living in a different city and had my own apartment I loved to decorate my home and a home can still look good without expensive interior: I. BUY FAKE FLOWERS If you don’t have the money to buy fresh flowers every week, buy fake flowers and put them into a vase. They don’t smell, but they embellish your home everyday and forever and you don’t have to worry about if they have enough water or not. II. USE A BOTTLE AS A VASE Also if you lack money to buy …
