Since the last time many were so interested in oil pulling and asked me so many questions, I thought I would share some more hacks with that little wonder. COCONUT OIL Coconut oil is a very versatile natural product, you can use it for so many things, I am going to share with you 10 more beauty hacks with coconut oil: I. MAKE UP REMOVER If you are running out of chemical make up removers, coconut oil is the solution! I just scoop out a little bit of coconut oil into my hand and then rub it into my face. Not only does it remove make up, but it also hydrates my face and makes it feel soft. After rubbing my make up off my face I just rinse everything off with water. II. HAIR MASK Coconut oil makes your skin soft and your hair as well! Just work it into your hair and let it sit for at least 15 minutes or longer. Since it is a natural remedy, you can even let it …

Tooth Care: Coconut Oil Pulling: The Benefits And How I Do It

When I lived in Shanghai, a lot of people had bad breath due to their nutrition and after a while I had bad breath too and couldn’t really get rid of it, it was super annoying. So I googled how to stop bad breath and I stumbled upon oil pulling and wanted to try it as well. Coconuts are not only delicious to eat but you can also use it for various beauty treatments: as a hair treatment, to shave your legs and to freshen your breath. What is oil pulling? Oil pulling is basically just like a mouthwash, but instead of using the mouthwash you use oil. This method is an ayuverdic medicine method and it helps to ‘pull’ out all the toxics of your body. What benefits do I have from oil pulling? It freshens your breath, detoxifies your body, removes plaque, heals bleeding gums and whitens your teeth. How does oil pulling work? Just take a spoon of raw coconot oil in the morning before you eat and put it into your mouth …

Current Favorites

I am not really consistent when it comes to posting about my favorites. Sometimes I have a ton of new favorites and sometimes I don’t have anything new. So I decided to call it ‘the current favorites’:   I. Porridge The first time I ever had porridge was in China when I visited Qingdao. When I came back to Germany, I bought this porridge immediately in a supermarket and since then I have it every morning for breakfast. I like to take my time in the morning and have nice breakfast and this meal looks so fruity and delicious, it’s perfect! I could write a blogpost about 10 different porridge meals if you want to – let me know in the comments! II. No Name Glasses When I first bought these glasses, everybody was making fun of them and told me I look like a grandmother with these glasses. I didn’t care and got them anyway and now I see them a lot on Instagram and on fashion bloggers. I like the frame very much, it’s …

June Favorites

Wow, time passed by so fast and we already have July! My favorites are very mixed this time: iPad PRO I sold my old samsung tablet and bought myself an iPad Pro, because I saw on Instagram, how @theblushingscript did some iPadlettering. It looks so impressive and since I am left-handed, the ink tends to smear all over the paper, which can be exhausting. I haven’t bought the Apple Pencil yet because it is so f***ing expensive but I enjoy watching videos on that tablet, the display is so satisfying to look at! I also use it to learn vocabulary and I have to say, Apple has so many more cool apps than Android. MAKE UP CONCEALER SPONGE I got this cute little one from the drugstore and I am pretty late on that ‘beauty sponge’ trend. I thought a brush can do the same job as a beauty sponge BUT it doesn’t. Especially for concealer a beauty sponge suits me much better. I tend to drag my whole concealer over my face when I use …

DM Drugstore Haul

I did some damage over the last month when I walked into my most favorite drugstore DM in Germany. Because spring is almost here ( I say almost because it is still cold ), I wanted to buy more products which have fresh scents. I bought way more stuff, but I thought I just show you the ones I have never tried out before or I really love. I also already tried some products, so I can tell you a little about my first impression. I don’t even know where to start right now, but let’s just try: I. BALEA VOLUME EFFECT HAIRSPRAY I have Asian hair and my hair is sticking onto my head like a paper lays on a table, that’s why I bought this hairspray. I am usually not a big fan of hairsprays because they always feel so sticky on my hair, but I thought I should learn how to use hairspray properly. And I have baby hair, so I hope I can tame them somehow with it… II. GUHL VOLUME …

5 Tips For Better Skin

When I was younger I used to have bad skin and I felt very uncomfortable to went outside without make up ( I started to wear make up when I was 15 ). Now that I am older, my skin got better, also because my mother repeatedly told me how important skincare is. No matter what kind of skin you have, these 5 tips you should always remember!

Product Review: L’oreal 6 in 1 Shampoo

I got this product a few weeks ago from l’Oreal in my mailbox and it is the new 6 in 1 shampoo. It says it does not foam and makes your hair soft and moisturized again. It is recommended to dry and sensitive hair and has camellia – oil in it. It is a pretty huge bottle and I tried it for a few weeks now, so here is my opinion about it:
